Booking a mobile disco for your event in the South of England

Before you book anything or anybody it is important to consider what type of event you are providing music for and who will be attending.

For example, it probably wouldn't be a great idea to have rave music banging away all night if the majority of the guests enjoy a waltz - or visa versa!

A versatile DJ will pick up on the genre of music that guests prefer as an event unfolds, but there are specialists whose talents will greatly enhance ambience should you have any particular musical preference.

Giving this some thought will  ensure the guests have a great time and give the DJ a fair opportunity to prepare fully for the event.

You can make preliminary enquiries regarding availability of DJs for your event by either calling our office and having an informal chat with one of the staff, or filling in our enquiry form which will help you provide all the information that will help us.

We understand your need to confirm arrangements as early as possible so if you choose the enquiry form as your means of contact somebody will respond promptly.

It is always wise to book your entertainment at the earliest opportunity. You might find arranging things a little stressful, but when you can't find somebody for your event because you've left it too late things suddenly become a whole lot more of a worry!

Mobile disco hire for the southern counties

We are fairly flexible about how far we travel. The easiest thing to do is ask. If you think you might be a little outside our normal area don't be worried about approaching us - at worst we can only gracefully decline! This map shows roughly the area in which we operate -

Wiltshire and Dorset aren't out of the question, nor is the Isle of Wight, just consider the travel time and cost when formulating your plans.

Mobile DJ's with professional attitude

Some DJ's and mobile discos advertise themselves (and we do mean themselves!) as the 'greatest road show around', a 'Mega Experience', 'Monster Rig' blah blah blah!! You will notice the common theme - me me me! Some DJs have an enormous ego and as far as they are concerned YOU will be attending THEIR show.

We have a more professional approach to our job. Your guests will be attending your function with a view to having a good time - pure and simple. The DJ's function is to entertain and play music that can be enjoyed by all your guests - this logic prevails whether you are playing to 50 or 5000 people. An experienced and skilled DJ will find a level at which most guests will have fun while listening to music they like. In short, a DJ is there to help your event flow. He or she should not be there as part of some self-centred ego trip. But then, I guess several decades in the business has helped us appreciate reality.

How much will a DJ cost me for my event?

Cost for a DJ and all necessary equipment will vary according to the type of event, when it is and how large the venue is.

In general, cost will be associated with the amount of work to be done. For example, the time of the day the event will take place and for how long, how much equipment is determined necessary for the venue and the number of people that will need entertaining. Distance to the event will also have a bearing.

See example costing for evening events (Typical play time between 8.00pm and Midnight):

Please be aware that costs indicated are typical. Special holidays, Christmas and New Year are subject to quotation and availability. All bookings are subject to our Terms and Conditions.

What do I do now and when will I need to pay?

The first thing we need to do is establish whether we have a DJ (or equipment if you only want gear) available on the date of your function. To do this either pick up the phone and call us (one of our friendly staff will be available to help) or complete the online enquiry form, send it and we will contact you.

If we can assist and you wish to make a booking we will require a deposit of £50. Bookings are accepted subject to our Terms and Conditions. Once your deposit is paid a communication will be sent to you confirming details of your booking.

Payment of deposit and/or balance can be made however you wish. We accept most major Credit and Debit cards, or you can make payment by Cheque or Bank Transfer if you find this preferable.
